scope mounting question

Just bought a new high power, and had to get a different mount for it to work for the scope I wanted to mount on it..but now after mounting, it almost looks like the bell of the scope(the far end of the scope) seems to be touching the mount rail..will that throw off my shooting? should i get some higher mounts? or will it be fine? any help would be great

The scope shouldn't touch anything except the rings that hold it in place. Can you fit a sheet of paper between the bell & the mount? Or move the scope forward?
