I looked at those reference points and I'm still saying 168. I don't think you need width to get a buck to score high. I for one have shot a 180" buck with a 16 and change spread. Here's a Canadian buck that goes 186 with a spread under 12".
Thanks for the pictures Iowa1. Even though pictures can be misleading, I think you could take off about 8 inches of mass and 2 inches of spread comparing these bucks to the trail camera buck. I guessed him in the mid 160's. Maybe my 12 year old will get a shot at him tomorrow. Thanks to all for the input!
With estimations of a 16 inch spread and 26 inches of mass...both very conservative, I still come up with 159 and a deceptive angle. Let us know the score when he goes down.
