In the market for a new release and am going to go with hook style....anyone shooting the Scott Silverhorn? Read some good reviews on it

I switched to that exact release 7 or 8 years ago. Still use the same one and will probably never go back.

It is a great release, love the hook style will never go back to a caliper I don't think. In the market for another Silverhorn.

I have the Rhino which I believe is the same as the silverhorn but less touchy. Great release

Sent from my XT1030 using IW

Silverhorn was too touchy for me but has the same Scott quality as the others. Rhino is much better for back tension as has adjustability. I am shooting the Spott Hogg Wise Guy and its my favorite but have shot all three :)

I also just switched to the Wise Guy. Has improved my accuracy immensely. I will say if you go to try it get the nylon rather than the solid.

The nylon gives you more adjustability with the length. With the nylon it allows you to be able to shorten the release enough to use your first joint on your finger if you so desired.

This, it also gives a little forgiveness in your anchoring point and you can tuck it in behind the strap so it's not flopping around.
