I shot this deer on Jan. 5 It was a tough late muzzy season due to the warm weather, nice to sit in but sucks for deer movement. I hadnt seen much for big buck activity all season I passed on a 130's eight. I hunted hard just about everyday shot five does and a coyote in the process and finally in the last few days of season this guy stepped out with daylight still shining, not much i must add but enough to pull the shot off. The shot was about 130 yards and i put the heat on him. Not my biggest buck, but a well earned one indeed. It felt as if i shot a 200 as tough as the season was and finally got a shot at a good one.
