Scum of the earth

I know how it feels to have stuff stolen out of your vehicle, my wife had her wallet stolen from her van years ago and now we never leave anything unlocked. It was kids that did it and they got caught(ask Maggs) but it is so violating that you're never the same again. In this town we never locked our houses or vehicles until this sh*t happened because we always figured we were safe from A-holes. I could tell you more about this story that would really piss you off but I try to forget it, it just won't happen. Good luck getting your stuff back Jay.
 
happened to my truck and my wifes van . broke the right front window out on each. feel your pain . hope you get your stuff back
 
Been dealing with thieves my entire adult life, and while their are life forms lower than a thief, they are right down there. Normal folks, who work for a living and know how hard it is to buy hunting equipment, are outraged when they or a friend is the victim of a thief.

A thief doesn't care. He or she has no idea what its like to make an honest living, and don't care what your stuff means to you, either monetarily or in memories. They don't think like normal people. They are scum.

I hope you get your stuff back, but unfortunately the odds are against it. It would be nice to have that happen and the suspect get a lengthly jail sentence, but time in jail is even more remote than the recovery of your property. Very few people go to jail for theft or car burglary.

The one good thing that will come from this is that the members of this board will be reminded to never leave valuable things in a vehicle.
