I bought my son a bear apprentice when he was that age. Very nice bow for the money, he’s almost 14 now and still shooting it

Yes I have one ! PSE Spyder with a whisker biscuit rest and a very nice sight on it. Perfect for that age , my son got it when he was 8 and shot it till he just turned 13. Very nice condition and I’d make you a good deal on it. Text me if interested , Matt @ 641-220-5267
