I’m not a farmer and didn’t discover this obsession until I moved 2000 miles away from home. If I broadcast clover and or rye into standing grasses/hay/ weeds will the seed take if done ahead of a rain? I’ve got a property I cannot run herbicide in and was looking to sweeten a couple stand locations.
Highly unlikely unless it's pretty sparse with soil exposed.
