Giving this a try again. I wore a gopro last year during shotgun season but failed to read the instructions about battery life. Two hours in and my camera was dead.

Lesson learned: bring extra batteries

This year I used a motorcycle mount and attached my gopro to the riser of my bow. Shot a buck at 30yds but out of habit I lowered my bow after the shot so all you see is my feet. I also had the camera set to wide angle so the deer appears to be 60yds away. Not the best footage.

Lesson learned: continue to hold bow up and change fov

I set my camera to narrow and went back out the other night to fill a doe tag. No does came in close but another buck walked in to 20yds. I filmed him for a bit for comparison but I am still not impressed with video quality.

Maybe I expect to much out of my amateur camera? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
