So a version of "shall issue" made it through the session. I love the 5 year term and the lack of interpretation as to who's qualified but does anybody know if we will still be limited to where we can carry by certain cities or places of business in particular? Here's the part I've been focusing on:
All permits so issued shall be for a period of five years and shall be valid throughout the state except where the possession
or carrying of a firearm is prohibited by state or federal law.
So is it saying that the right to carry cannot be infringed by lesser authorities than the state itself? I've heard conflicting reports through the grapevine.
