These cool evenings and overcast weather not only got the deer up and moving, but they got my GF in the hunting mood again. So yesterday we went in and did a little hang and hunt on my food plot. The wind was perfect and there had not been any pressure in the area. The original plan was to do a quick and quite hang and hunt. Needless to say, I had a heck of a time hanging the stands and ended up not getting sat down until 5:30. Not 30 minutes later this deer came into the plot. 20 yard shot, double lung, pass through, watched her go down.... What more can you ask for?
