Ya they need to be in good shape. Witch can be hard to come by.
What is the purpose if this? You have my curiosity.

Me too, if you want it to mount sheds on a shoulder mount you are better off filling the skull cap with Bondo and running screws up the antlers.

I use them for Euro mounts when the skull has already been cut off. Just cut the horns off and reattach them.

I did one of these on my Muzzy buck this year. Kind of tacky if you look up close, but from 10 ft away it is pretty sweet!
