I recently got a magazine tube extension for my Slug gun (Rem. 870 pump) and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I could get my sling back on the tube? The end of the extension doesn't have a cap so there is no way of putting a swivel mount on the cap to hold it? I thought maybe someone else on this site may have encountered this problem and may be able to help me out. thanks

What does the package say, i believe you have to drill your own hole and then tap the part the swivel hooks to in it or they also make a gun sling that just slides over your barrel and your butt stock, no mounting brackets or slings required.
 
I thought you were only allowed 2 in the mag and one in the chamber or is that just for waterfowl and upland hunters? I don't gun hunt so I really don't know???? I think the post above me is right on how to reattach the sling based on my previous exp.
 
Check out Brownell's catalog. They have just about every "tactical" gadget there is for the 870, and I know they have what you are looking for.
