Shoulder blade hit- thoughts?

WELL WELL WELL…. Someone showed up on camera tonight!!!! 2 weeks MIA. 10 guys grid searching. NOTHING. Tonight- BAM! Walked out right before dark in his core area. Picture is a partial of his head & rack but 1000000% it’s him. He’s back!!!! I was convinced he was dead to be Honest. My other take “they go MIA, recover & show back up” ended up being right.
I could not see the shoulder in the photo. TOMORROW the wind is right …. As I’ve been goofing off & just doing run/relaxing “let’s watch stuff hunts” - time to get back into the chase!! These dudes just never quit surprising me!!!!
These older bucks r truly amazing.
TUFFNESS beyound words. Survival.

Awesome news!! And I'm confident we'll get even better news from ya soon.

I hit a buck few years back while bow hunting.
Ended up hitting high in the cavity just below the spine.
I watch the buck turn and pull my arrow out of himself with broadhead still in him.
Put the word out,
2 years later neighbor 3 miles away calls me.
I bring my arrow that the buck pulled out perfect match to what was inside.
Once again TUFF animals.

We've had one of our collared bucks total two vehicles, a Tesla and a Nissan Xterra. Most of our deer have leg injuries from getting hit by cars but only 4 deer total have been killed out of around 175 captures from vehicles. Tough critters for sure!

So the broadhead was in the buck and healed over?
