Showin off the Guns

Hey revup. I'm wondering how you like that tactical 10-22. I had the paperwork done up for one of the wood stocked ones this summer then went another way. I've only heard good things about them. Didn't they only make a few of the black ones? They have a ruger made barrel and I was real happy to see that nice flat muzzle crown. Does it shoot well with all ammo?............ck

She actually belongs to my father in-law.
We put a few hundred rounds through it that day, and didn't have any problems.
Its a fun little gun, and my 9 yr old had a blast with it!

Maybe someday Brian. I recently discovered the ejector spring has failed. The 17's were known for this. There is an improved spring available so I'm thinking a whole new spring kit and possibly firing pin. She is 93 yrs old afterall. I have located a very talented guy to do the milling/threading for the brake. I'm sure a brake will help with faster target reacquisition. He will also flat crown it at that time. I'm going to ramp the follower so you don't have to thumb depress to close empty rifle. That Lazzeroni stock you have would be a huge plus;). And of course the already planned new scope and trigger. A re-stock would just about give me a new rifle to play with.:D...............ck

I know what you mean Coyotekiller. I just finished this one up and already have plans for another girlfriend. Besides that ARlene needs a playmate and it's the only time I get to fondle a girlfriend other than my wife and get away with it.:grin:
