Actually, I just wanted to say that I had a lengthy and good conversation with Tom Litchfield this past weekend and I want to make it perfectly clear - that guy has OUR best interest in mind. There is a bill containing a reformation of the Gov. Tags making a majority of them available to vets. (I know that's not new news, but it was supported and passed the house and now goes to the senate... I think... ??) He fully supports it and actually thinks it wouldn't be a bad thing if they went away totally. If it were only that easy.
And, the IDNR will be proposing another season of reduced antlerless tags and shortened additional antlerless seasons.... It'll hit the Gub's desk and we'll go from there. There is plenty of hope, and keep faith in our DNR, I think they are doing a pretty good job... as long as they can do their job rather than the Gub trying to do it.

So yes, THA4 had some good ideas we were chatting about earlier tonight and he's on to some good things & happy to hear how things went with Litchfield as you stated above & hope you keep on sharing the input hunters need!
