slug gun help

I bought a Mossburg 500 a few years ago and love it. I bought the combo barrels. The regular barrel with 3 screw in chokes for pheasant hunting or turkey hunting. My slug barrel is rifled barrel and is 18 1/2 inches long. I bought one that short cuz it is a lot easier walking through brush and it is lighter. Plus it is really cool looking being so short. The bad thing is you really have to hang on cuz with the short barrel it kicks like a motherf****r! Sounds like a cannon going off! I paid exactly $300 for it just a few years ago. I recomend Mossburg.
 
You cant go wrong with any name brand gun that has a fully rifled slug barrel. Having a cantaliver scope mount also aids in the guns consitent accuracy. Ithica also makes a great slug gun called the deerslayer.
 
I just got a flyer from Bass Pro In CB. They have the mossberg 535 with a smooth barrel and a slug Barrel for 279$
I thought that was cheap! They also have the remington for 299$ and a Savage bolt action for 399$
