Lets just be honest, I hunt bow and shotgun. But I hunt the same way no matter what I'm using. To me, killing an animal when they don't know i'm there is my style. It's about stealth. Sneaking in unnoticed. Not being smelled. Taking precaution and preparation. Monitoring wind direction. Etc etc. flushing game up so that my buddy at the end can blast it and/or take questionable shots on it... Well that's not my style. It's doesn't take a whole lot of skill to unload your semi auto shotgun on a running deer, which I heard a lot of this season. On the other hand, I do respect those who carefully push deer. Doing it the right way, people don't have to shoot at running deer and its really a lot safer. Deep inside, I really don't like the idea of flushing game, but for some people, it's family tradition and I can respect that. I have better things to do with my time than argue with guys that dont act like me. I am completely okay with agreeing to disagree.
Not everybody will get along though. You could easily make the whitetail forum for general discussion, the have both bow and shotgun sections. Could be quite useful
