small plots

how small is to small for a food plot? thinking i wanted to try one for next year in the middle of a timber i hunt. not sure what to plant but theres probably a 50x75yd clearing that has grass growing every year and i thought about if it was alright with the land owner trying something there

If it gets some sunlight I'd suggest Paul's winter rye/clover combo. I followed his instructions on a plot this year and it's getting hammered. I'll be planting several plots to this next year time permitting

Incorporate clover in with it as well. Clover is resilient and hardy & takes grazing on small areas.
