Snake Identification

Found this guy lurking around one of our plots yesterday in Monroe county. We can’t seem to identify it, does anyone know what it is?

Bull or fox I believe. I can never tell the difference.

I believe it’s a fox snake

Fox or northern water snake. I doubt it N water snake but looks similar. Most likely fox. Really cool!

Northern water snakes are much darker, I believe. At least all of the ones I've encountered.
