Snow in SE Iowa

How much snow is on the ground down there?

Just enough, if you are coyote hunting, but to much for my liking for shed hunting. Supposed to warm up this weekend and maybe a thunderstorm by Monday. Might wipe a lot of it out. Still some drifts in the fence rows and ditches around here.

How long since the last snowfall? How many inches overall?

There isnt even an inch on the ground in the extreme southeast. Just a dusting the last couple days.

I was in the Bloomfield area over the past 3 days and there isn't much on the ground. Shaded spots there is maybe a skif covering the ground, sunny spots have barely any snow left and what is there will go fast in this warm up.

We visited friends down south of Donnellson and there was hardly anything anywhere.

How about sw iowa anybody now about snow down there?

5-6 inches of snow down this way in many counties out in the country where the wind blows. I live in town and have at least 8 inches of snow covering my yard.
