I'm trying to get my soil correct and here is the soil sample report from my last sample. I did apply recommended rates except lime. I just applied lime at a rate of 3 tons per acre last week. Does anyone have recommendation's ? Also as far as organic matter goes how would I raise that ? I was told Corn ,wheat rye are all good for that ?

No-till, cover crops, manure if you can get it. It doesn't happen overnight and will require a commitment on your part.

Do you think I would be able to still no-till in the areas where I plant corn ? I don't harvest any corn .. just leave it as food and mow it when things green up and was worried about no-tilling into debris on ground from mowing ?

A little confused by your question.. Recommendations for inputs are listed on your soil test for what you're intending to grow.

Cover crops / no till are a very slow way to increase organic matter, and take a commitment of many years. Manure is a much quicker way to increase. You don't need a high OM to grow anything however.

A heavy no till drill will drill into most anything. Corn stubble is drilled into all the time.

Sorry about the confusion. I am in Missouri and in a area where I can't supplement feed so i was just trying to get soil fixed to allow nutrients to get to crops i put in. I have not been the best land manager unfortunately ( have not done any TSI or taken care of my soil ) and now trying do as much as I can and as fast as I can so I was hoping that someone might have some suggestions about my soil besides what the testing facility told me. I have heard that corn stubble can be drilled into but thought that was different than having the debris on the ground from mowing
