Some treestand tips/pack tips

Get yourself some elastic cargo nets for $5 and you have an instant way to secure gear to your stands or packs. Being an old biker from way back, I couldnt imagine life without these nets. Also, get yourself some cheap Fieldline fanny packs(we all have these laying around) and strip down the accessories off of them and attach these to your stand seats for easy access to grunt tubes, the can, snacks, etc. I zip strip them on. Works gr8. Also get yourself a cheap fieldline pack and zipstrip this or cable clamp it to your stands for easy transport. Way more comfy than the most expensive shoulder straps you can buy.

I've been using the cargo net trick for several years now, and it works great.

Instead of attaching the pack to the stand you can also buy a set of molle shoulder straps and waistbelt off ebay and use that. It works great.

Hey 180, the net allows you to add extra payload to what maybe an already full pack.

Gotcha. I guess I've never completely filled my 2200 to that point. I like the less is more tactic. The cargo net seems to work pretty good though. Great idea.

Are you hunting or going on a vacation? Cripes, I can't see needing to carry that much stuff.:D

Seems like a good idea to me, if nothing else I can attach my heavier outer clothes to the outside of my pack since I do not like to wear all my heavy clothing for the walk in. Good tip.
