I'm waiting for Ruger to make a compact .500 S&W and laugh as the amount of "just fired once" handguns show up on the market.

Seriously though, a guy wouldn't feel it if he was in the position of having to use it, not to mention having that much power in such a small package. Like I said before.. I like it!... I'd never buy it, but I like it!

I WATCHED one being shot on tv and decided not to do the .500. I don't know about the .454, might be kinda cool. I figure w/ as much velocity as you will loose from the 2 1/2" barrel you may as well just shoot a hot .44.

I may be wrong, but which would you rather shoot. EEEEK.

I think I would spend most of my time in the weeds looking for it after it flew out of my hand!! Dang that thing has to jump!
