a thanks to deadeye for running the camera for me a few weeks ago. we had these two monsters come in to the blind on a wet late october morning. the one on the stump was about 35 yards away and the other was around 5 yards from the blind. turkeys of a sort...turkey buzzards that is. with all the rain these guys couldn't fly for crap so they sat around my blind with their wings outstretched trying to dry off. i was tempted to do a broadhead penetration test but 1) i think they're protected and 2) i can't imagine what my arrow would smell like after ventilating a carrion eater like this.

Hey muddy, those are neat pic's, thanks for sharing them with us.

Years ago I hit one of them with my car. I stopped and picked it up to look at it. He then preceeded to vomit on me, I of course let go of him dropping it back to the ground, he then flew off.

Must have been his revenge for hitting him I guess?
