Out enjoying the warm, foggy morning just before light today walking the dog and had a couple gobblers sounding off like it was mid-April....can't beat it!
Now just to get through these next couple months...

I saw a few birds the other day strutting their stuff in 8 inches of snow. It was pretty neat!!

The first sounds of spring I heard about 10 days ago. Cardinals singing at sunrise,,their territorial songs. Since I have been in Iowa I have noticed they start around the first week of
Feb. Much earlier than Northern Mi,where I hale from. Nothing to do with hunting,,but truly first signs of Spring!
