sprint car nationals

I have 2 tickets to the sprint car nationals in Knoxville for Saturday night. I have no interest in going, but I will be at the shed gathering on Saturday. If anybody wants 2 free tickets to the race they will be available to be picked up at the gathering. I got them free through my work from Factory Motor Parts and they also have a hospitality tent with free food and drink that goes with the tickets. If you want them and will be at the gathering, just PM me.

TROY!!!!!!!!! Shoot on Friday with me, go to nationals on saturday and then you can return to the fall festival on sunday. Are you going to stay all weekend or something.

Guys whomever gets these tickets are lucky!!!!! This is the one weekend that I look forward to all year long. Just look for a fat guy with a harley shirt drinking under a big tent in the softball parking area.

From 1978 to 2005, I missed ONE Knoxville Nationals Sat. nite show (my first year from college when I did not have any vacation). I was a photographer for some regional racing publications for about the last 15 years of that period and really did enjoy the legendary period of the big three (Kinser, Swindell and Wolfgang). Haven't been to many races the last two seasons but I still get at least one qualifying night in during the Nationals and really enjoy seeing those incredible cars race. 850 HP and only 1,200 lbs of race car. That is one AWESOME power to weight ratio. Here are a couple of shots from my last year as a photographer. In most of these images, the cars are going between 120 to 130 mph with the photos shot from about 25-30 yards.
