State of Iowa in the Outfitting Business

SF2204 Makes the State of Iowa an Outfitter. This puts them(IOWA DNR) in competition with Iowa residence for the use of the 1% of the state that is available for public hunting. This steeling from the public to fund DNR budget. There are a few at the head of the IDNR responsible for this type of thinking. In my opinion.

The DNR isn't bringing these bills up for discussion and is apposed to most of them. Its the insurance lobby and the Farm Bureau introducing these bills and they don't have the hunters interests in mind.

I understand t SF file's2204 & 2205 where introduced by the Davis county senator. They may not have been introduce by the IDNR but they are written in such a way that the IDNR appear to be the managers of a Outfitting Business that is in direct competition with our residence hunters for the use of public grounds for whitetail deer hunting purposes.

Their are those with in the IDNR who care not for preserving the deer hunting heritage that currently exist in Iowa. MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT!!

Please post a copy of these bills so we can read them. I am planning on doing some emails tonight and then phone calls tomorrow. I want to address as many of these bills as I can in the next couple days.

This quote by Mike is very true.

Those of us that have been fighting for years to maintain Iowa residents hunting rights/heritage know this.

Please everyone, we need your help! Contact your state representatives and let them know how you feel about your resident hunting heritage.
