So here is a strange buck a guy from the shop shot! It gross scored at 154 1/8. The strange thing is the extra point. Maybe some of you have seen this, but it was a first for me! The buck has a point growing in the center of his head. It is not attached to either beam and is growing directly out of the skull!

Kind of a weird point, but I bet it made him the MAN when it came to fighting!!

a few years back, I worked at Frontier Outfitting in Des Moines. They had a deer on the wall with the same thing. Very strange.

Awesome deer! I shot one like that a few years back. Wasn't that long- but when I caped him out, the second tine was growing out of the skull separate from the main beams.
 
I shot one the same way Luke, although he was rubbing it through the skin some. It's the big 8 pt I use in my avatar sometimes.
 
I think I may have that one beat. My buddy sent me a picture of a buck that I would like to get on this thread and show you guys something really wierd. If some one wants to email me at jbrandt@essentialmtg.net I would gladly forward it on Its a very impressive deer. I don't know the story but its still a pig.
 
But since the Shooter uses such QUALITY equipment and has such a nice hat!!! I figured I would post them again for good measure!!!

Couldn't help myself.His quiver looks like a finger slicing machine.

Something else I noticed.Look how low his sight pins are set on that bow.I guess they have yo be so that PSE can arch those arrows in at 20 yrds. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
 
my shotgun hunting group has harvest three "uni-corn point" bucks...with that weird spike coming from between the regular antlers. Goofy, for sure.

That other buck, that's just a freak of nature. That deer was probably beggin for an arrow. Look at the flesh separation under his eye. OUCH!!!
