Those of you that use pretty boy/bmobile decoys. What would be the ratio of toms that run away from that set up to toms that come in. I scouted yesterday and there were at least 2 mature birds but they were attacked by two jakes. The one strutter just strutted along and the other big guy fought both of them and turned the jakes away. I want my girlfriends brother to score during youth season and was wondering if a b-mobile which i have would be a could trick for these birds.

I haven't had a mature bird run from one yet, more or less run to it. However, I have had mixed reactions with jakes. I have had a couple jakes come with in 20 yards of the pretty boy, but most seem to stay about 50 yards away from it. They sure don't want to leave though once they see the pretty boy

I don't think you will have much problem with spooking toms though. If I thought that was the case, I wouldn't use it

I had 2 jakes this morning come in and stood right beside my pretty boy 10 yards from the blind.

Don't say you didn't have an opportunity then... a bird in hand is worth two in the bush... even if the bird in hand scores less than a Cornish game hen. Guess team #1 is still at 0.0 inches.

I said I had no opportunity Sunday. Today was a different story. I couldn't do that to my partner posting a 20 point bird this early in the contest

I was at the new Bass Pro here in town last week and got to see the full mount of the KS state record...7 beards, bowie knife spurs...I think it scored 160 something. Thats what I'm shooting for

Or something half that score would be fine
