I shot a yearling doe from one of my rut stands this morning. Double lung, ran 20 yards, I drug her out right away and gutted her elsewhere. I think I may have broken the cardinal rule of shooting a doe right before or during the rut!.!. The shot was just perfect (12 yards, broadside, looking the other way) and she probably wasn't a breeding doe (or at least a late breeder) and before I realized it.... the arrow was on its way. I am now not going out tonight but would like to hunt the same area again tomorrow.

Did I blow it!?
 
No, you didn't ruin anything. Don't worry about it! I shot a doe about 20 minutes before I shot my buck last year. Don't worry about it, get back in there and hunt. Big bucks are up and cruising! It's getting good!

I won't shoot a doe during crunch time BUT my reason is I'm worried that a wounded doe will make it to a key bedding or staging areas and then I have to go disturb it to get her out. Sounds like that didn't happen so I'm guessing you're in great shape.
 
My friend shot one last week about the same way you did and the very next day he had a 130s buck follow the drag marks right to the spot she was hit not spooked at all you should be fine good luck.
 
Absolutely no problem. Blood is more common this time of year for them than any and I have shot does and then bucks in the same spot days later. Won't hurt a thing.
