I took this buck at first light Friday morning. He came right underneath me and I ended up with a spine shot. He pulled himself too far with his front legs for me to get a good finishing shot so I had to get down and follow him. As I was dropping my bow down I heard something walking toward the buck about 75 yards away. I looked over and saw a coyote "stalking" my buck. He sure thought better of it after I yelled at him though. I hate spine shots, but at least they don't go far.
I don't quite have the hang of sizing a picture for posting, but I hope this turns out.
