So we have a 160 class buck we are hunting with lots of history. I passed him last year a few times after he was broken up. I do not think he is the "dominant" buck on the farm, but he is there a lot. Here is the kicker, he walks during the daytime, a lot! I actually have NO night pics of this deer. I have ten cameras on the property to keep tabs on him, but he has no reason for where he is walking. He will walk past the same camera on different days/winds/weather conditions...Its like he is just unpatternable and I cant seem to find a common theme to what he is doing.. anyone have any suggestions for me to help narrow it down a little??

Wish I had those problems on my place! Yea,,more time spent out there, means more opportunities you will be at the right place at the right times.

I feel you man. Years back the landowner and I hunted hard for a 150's class 8 that was very similar in his habits. We would see him almost every hunt but we never had him close enough for a shot. He constantly cruised past stands we weren't hunting and it drove us crazy. Eventually I got lucky and he strolled by at 20 yds but by then he was so broken up the landowner wanted to pass him. I'd say just start putting in the hours in bottlenecks and pinch points and hopefully he'll wander past. Good luck!

I would consider that a good thing. He is comfortable in the area. Like said before, Hunt stands for the wind and try not to disturb things to much getting in or out. Put the time in.
