I go stump shooting at least once a week, try for two. For me, it's the very best practice. No known yardages. Walk for a bit, pick a spot and shoot. Go grab your arrow and do it again and again.
I also shoot in the back yard a few times a week.
My problem is, I need to stick with just one bow and not keep switching back and forth.
Guess I am the only one who can't find any extra time after little league, work, family outings, etc. Used to be in great shape but getting harder to find the time. I'll try harder....

I hear ya, fortunately we get to condition while at work. We have a mandatory fitness time slot, if we have time that is....
I've been working my bow weight up with the intent of shooting 70 pounds by September. I'm at about 66 right now. I tried the Mississippi thing and shot about 4 feet off at 40 mississippis. I think I better leave it at 66 pound or hope I don't have to hold a draw too long. The eyes closed thing would help my eye dominance problem though.
Ok, I lost 5.5 pounds the last three weeks. I found a great work out partner. I have been packing the 2 year old (27 pounder) in the Kelty hiking pack around the neighboorhood and I have been getting in 2-3 miles per night before she has had enough and wants to go home.
Still have 4.5 pounds to go and the last three weeks I am hitting the hills hard before heading out west.
