Last November I found myself struggling to get on top of any of the bucks I was after so I took a few nights off from the stand and set out with my new spotting scope to try to put it all together. One of those nights with light fading fast I was lucky to snap a few pictures and get a glimpse of a couple of the bucks I was chasing. When I got home and looked at what I had captured I was upset to find only a blank black screen. I was disappointed that I didn’t get any images but realized taking that time off from the stand and doing a little glassing might pay off as I was able to find the area of hottest activity and optimize my strategy. The time did pay off as a few days later as I was able to shoot a buck I knew well. A few weeks ago as we were getting ready for vacation and I came across the photos with no images just a black screen when I was clearing the card. I thought what the heck and opened them up with one of my photo programs and tried one of the auto fix features and found a pleasant surprise and thought I would share. I am looking forward to seeing these guys in a few months.
