That potential World Record Buck from F&S

Harvested in Buffalo County, WI. If you read down through the forum it does say that all of the points come off the top of the main beam and are separate (no common bases). Will be interesting to see.

Either way that thing is freakin sick

Typical Monster

As a measurer myself and haing sat in on literally tens of thousands of racks being measured, being trained and mentored for 25 years by a couple of the most active measurers in the business. I feel I can confidently say there is no way those points originate from the top of the beam no matter how they are spaced or stacked. You can clearly see they are 1/2-3/4 of a points width inside the other points. P&Y and B&C have always called this type of origination a non typical point. Wierd things have happened, but if these two clubs are to do what they have always done in the past, this set of antlers will be scored non typical.

I concur with DC
this deer will undoubtedly be scored as a non-typical

3.5 years old too according to what the biologist said in the article tlambert posted. That's just incredible. What would that deer have been at 5.5 or 6.5? Its like a high fence breeder got loose or something. Just incredible how the right genes at the right time can produce such a beast of a deer. Congrats to the hunter.

WOW!!!Im sure it will be a n/t to but who cares its a monster.I think i would have taken pics to post before it was caped..but i was looking at all the bone anyway not hair.congrats to him /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Buckshot, there are several harvest photos on different websites posted of the buck, these were just the best photos I could find that showed off the entire rack

Biologists said Milo Hanson's deer was 3 1/2, yet Bentley Coben has a shed off his from the yr before and it was over 90" as a 5pt. That is not from a 2 1/2 yr old deer. I can't believe that is a 3 1/2 yr old deer.

And thanks for giving your input Dan. I personally will be disgusted if it's scored typical. Again, it's a true beast of a buck, giant monster, but it is what it is.
