When you do this do you crawl out to the birds or just walk right out to them?

You don't need to crawl. Just stay as low as you can and move slowly to them. They can see your legs but it doesn't seem to bother them. I like to get to within 60 yards and let the birds come to me.:way:

Thanks for the info. I have not tried this but time is getting short.

This looks like a great way to tag those hard to shoot open area birds.
