Well my friends group was hunting right nw of Griswold here and killed a monster. The kid, whos name i will not reveal, has only deer hunted once and
was going to go duck hunting Satruday morning before my classmate convinced him to go. Guess he made the right choice. Seen the deer in person. Easily 180s +

Congrats to the Hunter!! Very nice brute! Have ya seen the one shot up by Lewis? Heard it went 213 gross. Its also was a stud!!

Congrats to the hunter! Dandy typical! Kjohn...pics are not showing up for me. 18 miles is a long way if that is the case. Where I grew up, there is 1 section that no one can hunt and they leave corn up all winter. Tons of switchgrass but for the most part is out in the open. No tree cover really. When shotgun season hits, the deer PILE into that section! The deer know it too. When they start hearing gun shots, they go to this section because they know they can't be shot there. Wouldn't surprise me if deer travel close to 10 miles to that section. 18 is a dang long ways tho.
 
Ya my pics are having troubles. I have been trying from my iphone. They are in my album tho if somebody wants to post them in the thread that would work for me.

Exactly right! right place at the right time. Great buck for a young and upcoming hunter. Get that thing mounted and up on the wall so you can remember that hunt forever!

The first one wasnt killed nw of griswold. Thats just some ground that they hunt that someone got mixed up. It was killed over by grant
