Good luck to you all on getting your wrestling back, but the only coach to get kicked out of Iowa for being too tough is Jay Robinson. Gophers are going to be hard to beat in the next three years!

The only reason Iowa State got such a good recruiting class was because of Iowas struggles latley. Now that Brands has come to town Iowa State will have a hard time recruiting again.
 
whoa....i really think that it is awsome for the Iowa program to have brands on board...but let me fill you in on why Iowa State is gonna be beating Iowa hands down starting now and years to come....1st off...Cael Sanderson...Brands is very intense...and he might even make you want to run over your mother...but Cael is the BEST EVER!..He obviously knows exactly what it takes to be a champion, just as much...if not more than brands...2nd...Iowa State is known for training olympians...bobby douglas is the olympic wrestling coach and any world class high school wrestler that wants to become an olympian will be signing with Iowa State long before the even consider Iowa....Not to mention the talent Iowa State already has in their arsenal...they have another sanderson making his debut next year as well as gallicks little brother...both paulsen twins will be back....i dunno guys...Iowa State is on the up and will be for a while

Let's throw in some tidbits of info for Gable just in case you didn't know.

He was the head coach for 21 years and won 21 straight Big Ten titles, He also won 15 I repeat 15 national titles in 21 years and 9 of those were straight in a row. His dual meet record is 355-21-5. That is once again for 21 years. Now lets talk about HIS wrestling highlights. 118-1 and he lost his very last match. He was also the 1972 olympic gold medalist. I think that we will be jussssst fine.
