The Hillbilly Strikes Early

Well guys hillbillyhunter and I decided to go to one of my favorite early season hotspots Sat morning and give it a whirl. The mornings hunt was a good one for me 9 bucks and 11 does but no shooters close enough for a shot, hillbilly was at full draw on a 130"class 9-point but it wouldnt give him the shot he was looking for. After seeing a lot of movement we decided to go back and try it again in the afternoon, and i think hillbilly is glad we did. I saw 2 small bucks and 7 does and he saw somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 deer total and made a great 30yd shot on this nice 12-pointer at 6:00pm
