The learning cycle

Thought this was kinda neat. I had my son and nephew with me the other day. We were checking out some hunting ground. We were driving along and I pointed out a little rub on a tree. My nephew hasn't been around much hunting and didn't know what I was talking about. My son starts yelling "I'll just show him dad" and they both bailed out of the pick up.

So this is my 6 year old explaining what a buck rub is to a 5 year old.

Thanks for sharing..good to see that much interest from the little guys....probably some great future hunters right there.

Very nice pictures and a great topic to share. I am getting old but I can say I didn't even see a deer until I was 13 or 14 years old and didn't know a buck rub from a scrape from quail dusting spot. I never really started deer hunting until about 1975 and it was way different than now and I have learned tons over the last 15 years, and it appears that your 6 year old probably knows about as much as I do now, so VERY GOOD JOB to you.

Perfect Saskguy! I thought of that too but didn't take the time to look for the picture. Good work.
