My dad and I have a shed full of them up in WI. I just go up and pull out what I need.
There's somewhere around 7 Climbers(don't ask), 15 hangons, 2 ladders, 2 tripods, 5 blinds. Plus a bunch of steel hangons that my dad made in the past.
Always looking to get more hangons...you can never have enough.
Have 1 hanging in my "honey hole", and 1 hanging in my garage - but its my lone wolf and I have over a dozen setups ready for it, just carry it in everytime.
So, if this is like golf... I'm below par /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
38 useable stands in the woods and growing--hunt by myself, sometimes with parkerman when he draws a tag.8 more ladders in the garage just in case another hot spot shows up or to help replace old ones. Most all are single or double ladders ranging from 10' to 24' high.
I do have them all mapped out on topo maps(no the maps are not for sale). Some don't get hunted for a couple years due to crop rotation and hunting pressure , but ratchet straps are changed every year. I can hunt a few thousand acres and need to be able to be as mobil as need be to keep ahead of the best potential.
Just FYI, I highly recommend buddy stands if you can manage--they seem to not get stolen as quickly--I still have all 14 in the woods. Guess they are just too heavy go CARRY AWAY.
Man I love sellin sporting goods for a LIVING /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

Gee...Ya think? ha, ha That is one boat load of stands.
I use to hang quite a few, then once about 5 years ago I was in an area I had not hunted for several years. Low and behold here hung one of my stands.. It had been there for years and I had completely forgotten about it..
Presently I have 3 Lone Wolf Alphas 3 Summit Trophy Stands 2 home made and a ladder stand.. Presently have 4 set up and out
10 hang ons in the woods and 2 more in the garage. Picked up 5 more at Menards last month for $24.98 each! These have two ratchet straps and a padded seat. I'd rather have 10 cheap hang ons then 1 or 2 expensive ones. Anything is nice compared to wedging myself in the crotch of a tree like I used to in high school. I've never liked the climbing stands.
