The time has come to get organized

Ok, we've been talking about several resolutions lately that could adversely impact us as outdoorsmen. Can some smart person list the resolutions in a single post along with the proper contact information to e-mail representatives? Who exactly should we contact anyway, everyone, those within our district only or what?

Would it be possible to maintain a sticky listing the current resolutions and their status of yay or nay once they're finally voted upon for 2009? I really think if we had a concise place to start the process, many people including myself, would be very likely to take action. If someone is willing to do this, I'd like to thank you in advance for your efforts and troubles.

It looks like elkhunter is doing just about that in this forum. The treads just need a TTT with updates.

I for one want to thank Randy for all of his hard work on our behalf.

Same here, along with Blake and others. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
Here's hoping I didn't come across as unappreciative of those efforts. More than anything, I'm just wondering who to contact on these things. My district reps, senators, all of the above, congressfolk outside my district even? What's the protocol?

The IBA forum answers some of those questions. I knew you where not dissing anybody. Also I did not intend to overlook Blake and others. We are all very fortunate to have such membership here.

We try to keep everyone up to speed on legislative matters.

Thanks fellas. I checked out the info Randy and found my state senator and representative. For now, I'll go with just e-mailing those guys with my views unless I hear differently. Appreciate the links. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
