Now I feel bad. I know this is way off subject and I apologize, I used to keep a handful of raw acorns on the dash of my work truck to prank my coworkers. When asked " What's up with the acorns?" I would tell them that I like to snack on them from time to time. They'd give me a dumb look and ask " Are they any good?" Of course I would say "Sure. Why do you think deer and other wildlife love em so much. Go ahead and try one!"
Then they would proceed to crack one open and begin to chew on it. Trying to keep a straight face, I would wait for their reaction. Only once did someone keep from spitting it out and actually ate the thing. That one person must not have much for tastebuds. If you have ever tried one then you know how bitter they are. But I couldn't resist a good joke.
