Persistence pays off! Hunted hard all week, my buddies killed 2 nice bucks as a result, and after scrambling around today trying to get as many deer in front of us as possible.... it finally happened!

2 shots, he went 100yds and piled up!

He's actually not missing any. He has short 4's and other kickers that add up to 15 if you count the points off the bases. 12 scorable that I can tell tho.

I have no history besides for this past week of 2nd gun.. i believe this was the same buck that gave us the slip on 3 different occasions earlier in the week but cant be 100%. My guess was that he just bedded in the wrong location at the right time I'd guess him at least 5.5yrs old but will get a better estimate from the taxidermist later this week when he looks more at the teeth. I usually investigate myself, but I was on cloud 9 and would have forgot my boots if they weren't already on my feet lol
