Well we had a cold front come through sunday that made the first weekend of bow season awesome, Saturday was the opener here in Ky but at 5 oclock saturday evenin it was 102 degree when i was in the stand. i didn't see a deer. But sunday evening i was sittin in the stand and 5 oclock it was 65 degree. saw 3 small bucks and 4 doe sunday evening. Nothin big enough to shoot. But monday i hunted a place my dad an i've been hunting for 2 years. There is a good 10 point mid 150's deer that were hunting. Well about 30 min before dark i look behind me down the edge of the bean field and here comes a small 120 8pt. Well to my suprise i see another buck behind him, I get a closer look and it's the deer we've been hunting for 2 years and with my luck his whole complete left side was done broke off. Huge right side but nothin on the left so i guess he gets a pass for this year. This is how my luck goes though. I'll be back after them come sunday evening though. I'll be on a different farm. Mondays temps was a record for us here in western ky. The high monday was 56 and rainy. wish that weather would stay
