Three months from today Iowa bow deer season starts. Anyone else getting pumped?

oh yeah! Gonna try and get the camera out this weekend.....once something appears on film I will be going loco until Oct.
 
I hear you Ghost. October 1 cannot come fast enough. I'm taking inventory of my gear and figuring out what I have and what I need (and some things I don't need but want anyway

I start getting excited at the 120 days (june 1) so you guys need to catch up. As soon as the deer put on some antler, I start getting pumped. Each day is a little closer and the anticipation rises. Good luck to all this fall.
 
i was ready last October after i took my bow buck. i'm moving/placing stands this weekend.

WHOOOOOOOO......HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, It's coundown time!!!!! I've already informed the wife that the wedding we are supposed to go to on Nov.12th is going to have to be missed... More important things going on that weekend.

Weddings happen every day, but the rut only happens once a year!! My oldest boy "Zack" and I were shooting our bows from the garage roof last night, she thinks I'm NUTS!!!

Yah, seems like it's really started getting bad the past few weeks. I think my wife would actually like to see it get here too. Evidently I get a little "moody" this time of year for some reason.

Not enough time till October. I leave for Alaska in two weeks, go to Idaho for an Elk hunt Sept 1st-10th
and by the time I am back from that it is back to Wyoming in October for Antelope. The summer is going just to fast......

I think I will just pass on this year's deer hunting venture. " Yeah right" Don't thinks that's gonna happen! Probably wonder where I have been these past several months. Work, work, work!! HA! I hope none of you really believe that. Can't stand it much longer. I am litterly taking off the whole month of November this year. Glad to see everyone is in the same boat with the craving passion to get out there and enjoy our sport. That is what makes it so great.
