Sunk into a marsh up to my thighs yesterday. I was about 3/4 of a mile away from the truck. However with my polypropolene sock liners, thick wool socks and Lacrosse burlies with 800 g thinsulate, my feet didn't get cold. They didn't even feel wet although I could wring water out of the socks when I got them off.
