This pic is on another post so most of you have seen it, but the reason I am bring it up again is that we found some where around 200 ticks on this deer. I have never seen this and wounder if any of you had.
I found quite a bit on my deer cape's from last year but didnt count how many or even pay attention to the ones on the rest of the hide. Could say that is is very possible during early season hunting.
Or even late season for that fact.
I've got a cousin in Wisconsin who hung a deer in his garage. He put a feed sack below the deer to catch blood drips. The next morning the sack was covered with deer ticks. That was during gun season.
I shot a buck the second week of nov. 6 yrs ago and he was covered with them.When we caped and skined the the deer it seemed like you had a tick on you,and it seemed like for two days it felt like they were crawling on you.I hate them damn things!
