I just cut down an ash tree due to it threatening my cabin if ever was to fall in a storm.
It was a live tree and from end to end (pics) it's 38.5 feet with zero wood pull from the cut end.
Cut end is 23" at the smallest diameter and the top end is 17".
Very straight and solid log.
I was going to cut it up for firewood but being is such a rare ( for here) log, I figger there may be value to it other then firewood?
Any opinions on this?
