Hope all had a great Father’s Day! We are all extremely blessed! I usually request no gifts for Father’s Day because I already have everything I’d ever want.. and am known to buy it if I don’t actually have it already . Was surprised this year when I got a tent and sleeping bag for my upcoming backcountry elk hunt in September.. The thought was nice.. am returning them and exchanging them for the ones I really wanted.. evidently the kids and wife wanted me to freeze.. not sure how to take that.. anyway.. Do your best to pass on the tradition we all love!
I appreciate the gifts tho. My dad was notoriously cheap on hunting gear even tho hunting was his passion. I never understood it until I had a wife and kids and a few responsibilities.. all makes sense now. Thankful he sacrificed so I don’t have to as much.
